GENERAL SUBMISSION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

YOUR SUBMISSION:

• Must not contain, link to, or be associated with content that could be construde as being of a mature nature.
• Listings that contain, or link to sites with the following content will NOT be accepted as free submissions:-
  Pharmacutical / Drugs / Pills / Medicine
  Financial / Loans / Mortgage / Credit Cards / Debt management
  Gambling / Betting / Paid Gaming
  
  While we will consider paid submissions of the above types of listings, we make no guarantees that they will be accepted. Such submissions will only be accepted, provided that a full United Kingdom registered address is provided at the time of the listing. Refunds will always be made if a listings is not accepted.
• Where your submission promotes, offers, or otherwise makes available pharmacutical goods or services, you confirm that you are a licenced medical professional permitted to offer such services.

YOUR DETAILS:

• Your submitted email address must be live and monitored. E-mails eminating from GateUK.com or GateUK.co.uk must not be blocked. We periodically check the status of your submission and if an edit is required, an email will automatically be sent to your registered address. If this email bounces back to us undelivered, we reserve the right to remove your submission without notice.

UPLOADS:

• Any file uploads made must be connected with your submission. These can be in the form of images connected with your coroporate identity, price lists, menus.
• You must own copyright on all uploads, or have permission for republication. You agree that that these will be displayed, or otherwise made available via the GateUK website.
• Photography must be of a reasonable standard with an acceptable resolution for viewing on the World Wide Web.

YOUR BUSINESS OR SERVICE:

• Must be submitted to the closest matching business category.
• Free listings submitted that are NOT United Kingdom specific, must provide a reciprocal link back to GateUK. Failure to choose the correct option, or provide a valid reciprocal URL, will always result in your submission being rejected.
• All other submission types must be United Kingdom based, or provide services to the United Kingdom or it's Crown dependencies.

SUBMISSION SPECIFIC TERMS:

FREE SUBMISSION:

• Only top-level domain names are accepted as free submissions. (Example: www.gateuk.com / www.gateuk.co.uk /) Sub domains, sub-folders or individual website pages will not be approved.
• Redirected, cloaked or affiliate URL's will not be approved for free submissions.
• Regular reviews of free listings occur and although unlikely, GateUK reserve the right to amend or remove free listings, at any time, for any reason.
• For free submissions that are not UK related, you agree to provide a valid link-back to GateUK, that is available from your main page navigation and is fully 'followable' by the major search engines (i.e. noFollow should NOT be used).

CATEGORY SPONSOR:

• We only allow a maximum of one sponsor for each category, so do please check that your chosen category does not already have a sponsor. This will be shown as "This category is sponsored by.." It is YOUR responsibilty to check this, as if you pay for a category sponsor and that category sponsor position is already filled, your submission will be queued until the space becomes available.

MAP LISTING

• As well as appearing as a sponsored listing, your submission will also be placed on our front page navigation map at the Geographic location of the physical address that you provide. If you want a different location, then you must contact us, ideally replying to you approval notification with the geographic location that you prefer.

ARTICLE LISTING:

• Must be your own work, or a quality rewrite.
• Must relate to a destination, place, business or service within the United Kingdom.
• You agree that your name will be displayed as the author of the article and that any opinions or comments contained withing are yours and are not neccessarly the opinion of GateUK or it's affiliates.
• Must not contain advertising slogans.
• Must contain between 1,000 and 10,000 characters. Articles longer than this may be accepted, but please contact us to discuss this prior to submission.
• Must be written in a recognised United Kingdom language (English, Welsh, Scottish Gaelic, Scots, Cornish, Irish. etc.)
• Must contain a good standard of punctuation and grammar.
• You agree that the article may be edited without notice for gramatical purposes.
• You agree that any URL or images supplied with the article are conected in some way with the article content
