Opened in 1984, the Epsom Playhouse has a wide and varied programme of events featuring both professional and community productions. The main Auditorium seats 406 and plays host to major leading theatrical companies, including Opera, Dance, Drama, Comedy, Light Entertainment, Variety, Popular Children's Shows, and so much more. Added to which we run a Summer Film Season to enable you to catch up on those films you missed first time round.

The Blackpool Grand Theatre

The Grand Theatre is an 1100-seat theatre designed by Frank Matcham in 1894. This amazing space is a wonder of restoration and revival, presenting a full range of every performing artform, as Blackpool's community theatre, Lancashire's preferred opera house and Britain's National Theatre of Variety.

The Geoffrey Whitworth is a public theatre with over 1700 members, founded in 1948. The theatre has a raked auditorium seating 150, a large proscenium stage, a fully licensed bar, two foyers, a rehearsal studio, large dressing rooms and plentiful on-site parking. We produce ten or eleven productions annually, each usually lasting for 8 nights, including a Youth Group Production. We at the Geoffrey Whitworth are proud of our reputation for presenting high quality drama.
