We do not tolerate SPAM in any form. We will never send you unsolicited emails.

CONTACTING YOU

On occasion, we may need to contact you regarding your submission for the following reasons:-

1. When you submit a listing to us and in order for us to determine your identity, we will send an email to your registered email that contains a link that needs to be clicked to confirm your submission.
2. When we approve or deny your listing, we will will send an email to that effect.
3. When there is a requirement to edit your listing (in case of errors or category changes etc), we will send you an email outlining any changes that have been made.
4. If you modify your listing in any way after it has been approved, it will go back into pending status and an email will be sent out to you once we review your amendments.
5. You will receive an email, should we find it neccessary to remove (delete) your listing for any reason.

REGISTRATION

When you register with us or submit a link for review, we ask you tosupply us with certain personal information as follows:-

REQUIRED INFORMATION:-

1. Your email address. This is needed to confirm your identity and protect GateUK from Spam submissions, and for us to contact you if any changes are made to your listing.
2. Your Name. Required to identify you as the listing owner. This need not be your real name and is only used to associate your registration with your listings.

VOLUNTARY INFORMATION:-

1. An address. Only required if you wiish to display your business address along with your listing. This is also required if you wish to display maps with your listing.
2. A Personal Bio. Required only if you wish to display an author Bio with your article submissions, otherwise not mandatory.
3. Your website URL. Other than URL's associated with any submissions you make, we require your personal URL if you wish to display a Bio with your article submissions. Otherwise not mandatory.

COOKIES

GateUK uses session cookies to keep you logged in while accessing our site. Cookies are not used for general browsing.

THIRD PARTY ADVERTISING

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. DATA PROTECTION

We respect the the terms of the UK Data protection act and as such, we only use data provided by you for the purpose of which it was intended.

We will, upon request supply you with a full copy of any data we hold on you within 30 days of request. However, this can only be honoured if your request originates from the email address you used at registration.

We will also remove and permanently delete any data we hold on you should you request us to do so. Any submissions that you have made will also be removed.

ACCOUNT DELETION

You may, at any time, place a request for your account with us to be removed. This must be made via the email address you initally registered with us.

Please note that any submissions that were made using this account will also be deleted. Once deleted, you will receive one final email from us confirming that your account has been removed.

Please also note that once an account has been deleted, it cannot be restored.
